The People's University of Lorca increase this quarter in its educational offer 16 courses, reaching 2,500 seats and 163 training activities (09/03/2010)

The Department of Culture of the Municipality of Lorca launches this week the program for students which will run until June.

The Councillor for Culture of the Municipality of Lorca, Rosa Medina, has announced that this week has started 163 training courses for 2,500 people provided by the Universidad Popular de Lorca for this quarter, representing an increase of 16 courses and 136 seats last year.

In addition, this program coincides with the 25th anniversary of the creation of the municipal cultural institution.

Medina stressed that "the great demand for these courses each semester makes us gain a wide and diverse range of training on different materials and formats which we propose for all ages, tastes and characteristics.
