The IMJUVE (Instituto Municipal Youth Lorca), presents its comprehensive offering for the summer for young people to the town to travel and enjoy all the opportunities open to know new places.
Therefore, from the IMJUVE, are given the opportunity to youth from 12 to 30 years to participate in camps, labor camps or European exchanges.
The first possibility is the work camps for young people aged between 15 and 30 years, this program is offered annually for the summer months in the Region of Murcia, in Spain's other regions and countries.
Work Camps are a form of voluntary service, which consists of performing selfless work that reverses in the community that is developed, offering the chance to experience places and forms of culture.
The date of application for participation starts from April 15 and the fields are varied, and environmental, archaeological, investigation and recovery of historical, ethnographic, of social activism, theater, culture and its duration ranges from 12 to 20 days.
The price is very cheap, because it is the result of collaboration between the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia and Youth Organizations of the Autonomous Communities of Spain.
The second option is summer camp for young people aged 12 to 17 years, with a special way to enjoy holiday periods among friends under the supervision of master trainers in leisure activities.
The subject is varied and may focus, among others, entertainment activities and adventure, nautical and marine environment, environmental, mountaineering and adventure sports.
Application deadlines for participation open from April 19 and youth are youth card holders and children under 14 years enjoy special discounts.
The third of the resources that offers young IMJUVE Lorca is to participate in mobility programs, which through Intercultural Cazalla allow us to exchange with other young people to different countries of the European community.
The exchanges are funded by the Youth in Action Programme of the European Community, so that the youth's involvement in them, is very affordable it should only take 30% of total expenditure.

The exchanges are scheduled:
Vranje, Serbia, from 20 to April 27 for ages 18-24 years. The aim of the exchange is to create a cultural video documentaries.
Each participating country will prepare a video on the culture of their country and during the exchange will mount all the videos.
The exchange will include workshops and installation of video clips.
Young people from Spain, Serbia, Greece, Portugal, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia.
Latvia, from June 28 to July 4, ages 18-24 years. The main theme of the exchange is human trafficking.
Exchange of information on the subject matter in different countries.
Participating countries include: Palestine, Jordan, Latvia, Spain.
Mauguio, France, from 4 to July 13, ages 14 to 18. The issue of trade hinges on the environment and its protection, by a lake which will host sports and activities connected with environment and art.
Includes workshops on photography, fine art, using products recovered from the beach.
Cultural visit to the Festival of Avignon.
Career guidance through the historical center of Mauguio.
Young people from Spain and France.
Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 20 to 29 June 2010, ages 18-24 years. The issue of exchange is the prevention of youth violence.
Used as a tool for theater work.
Young people from Romania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Spain, Macedonia, Croatia, Bulgaria and Serbia.
Lorca, Spain, from 4 to 11 August, de18 age 24. This exchange will take place in our town.
The main theme is about migration and creativity as tools to analyze and contemplate the issues of immigration, multiculturalism and minorities.
The participating countries are: Poland, Germany, Italy, Romania, France, Czech Republic, Latvia, Bulgaria, Portugal and Spain.
Torino, Italy, from 7 to 12 June. The project is a contact seminar for youth workers.
Covers the use of theater and music as tools for youth work.
