The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar Development and Local Councillor, Lali Ibarra, this morning visited the environment in which residents were in danger of some houses near the detachment zone.
This action is part of the Urban Initiative Uptown Lorca and the Comprehensive Plan of San Cristobal district, through which it has invested over 4 million euros.
The Mayor of Lorca, Francisco Jodar Development and Local Councillor of the Consistory Lorca, Lali Ibarra, this morning visited the work to consolidate and support the existing slope at Calvary Viejo del Barrio de San Cristóbal, which will take place through a network cable bolts anchored to the ground, and the subsequent covering with pigmented concrete and projected onto the slope.

The mesh is anchored in the ground by steel bars distributed modular self tapping every 20 m² and a length of 10 m.
The cables are fixed to the extreme side edges of the system through flexible anchors.
It has projected an average of 10 cm layer of wet concrete, colored, creating a similarity to the existing terrain.
Its impact on public space is minimal as it adapts to the current surface of the slope, by coating and content.

Francisco Jodar said "this work is part of the ambitious City Redevelopment Plan Integral del Barrio de San Cristóbal promoted by the Municipal Government Team, which represents an investment of over EUR 4 million in municipal works in 4 years."
This plan includes work already undertaken in the last two years as the remodeling of the main streets, Ortega Melgares and Turbinto and Vegetables Square and 40 streets in the area Pibal of Barrio San Cristobal, emphasizing the creation of Placeta Cruz de Sola and expansion of Cuevas de Mena Street to improve access to emergency vehicles.
