The Councillor for Education of the City of Lorca, José Joaquín Peñarrubia, hosted a group of 5 students from Göteborg University in Sweden, located in Lorca conducting a two week stay in school as part of their university studies .
Peñarrubia reported that these students are enrolled in first and third year Degree of Education (Teaching) and will be future teachers of Spanish in Sweden.
Councilman of Education has stressed that within the work plan developed by that group of prospective teachers are attending classes in different groups of secondary school and also to the "Reception Hall."
They will also learn about the dynamics of school life, attending various meetings of internal organization, as well as graduation from high school 2 of, among other events.
José Joaquín Peñarrubia has indicated that such experiences enrich the profile of Lorca as a university town since moving beyond our current work region in educational training and the potential it brings into operation the University Campus .
