The director of the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia, Veronica Lopez, along Councillor for Youth of the Municipality of Lorca, Joaquin Ruiz, today announced the National Youth Conference, Leisure and ICT (Information and Communication), which held in Lorca, on days 1 and 2 July.

The ceremony was also attended by the director of Euro-Latin American Youth Center (CEULAJ) Injuve, Antonio Arriba.

The meeting, aimed at professionals who work with youth, "aims to be a center of debate and reflection on the use and behavior of youth to the digital media," said Veronica Lopez.

The conference organized by the Youth Institute of Spain, will cover topics such as social change in youth culture, which involves the use of Information Technologies and Communication, and everything related to Internet, social networks and participation youth.

Participate in different seminars university professors Ramon Llull in Barcelona; Oberta de Catalunya in Barcelona, the University of Navarra and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos de Madrid, technical services, youth information and documentation as well as the Youth Observatory of Spain .

Since 1998 the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia has performed, among other things, a conference year with a topic of interest related to youth.

Each year are performed in a different municipality, this year held in Lorca and the participation of more than 20,000 young people in Spain.

This time also coincides with the celebration of the first National Olympiad Leisure.

The Workshops are part of the Training Plan that the Youth Institute annually organizes various activities for training, retraining and upgrading of young people, technicians, members of associations and youth organizations in the field of animation and time education free, and programs for youth in the field of informal education.
