The First Edil, in view of the situation caused by this issue, demanded the writing of 4 reports to Local Police, Technical Services, General Secretariat and the Procedure Instructor, which will make these proposals null and void
The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has reported that the City will proceed to cancel all proposed sanctions issued by the Local Police that had their origin in the use of a radar.
This measure is derived from the general review ordered by the Mayor himself, who already expressed his disagreement about what was happening, for which he demanded the preparation of 4 reports on this matter by different municipal services.
The action to annul these proposals of sanction is based on the conclusions transferred by the Local Police, Technical Services, General Secretariat and the Procedure Instructor.
These indicate that there was an error in the measurement of the procedure, since the established margin of error did not apply to the registered speed, and that has been established by recent jurisprudence (judgment of the Supreme Court of April of this year), which supports legally review these files.
The owners of the vehicles will receive a notification of resolution from the Mayor in which the abandonment without effect of the aforementioned proposals is reported, also voiding any previous notice.
