The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez Martínez, has announced two operations developed by agents of the Unit of Prevention and Operational Response, UPROL, of the Local Police on June 5, which proceeded to the detention of two people.
The first action took place when the agents proceeded to the arrest of a person of 25 years of Moroccan nationality on whom an expulsion order weighed because he had numerous records of robbery with violence, which is why his residence had been revoked.
The agents made the appropriate inquiries, establishing a device that resulted in their location in the vicinity of the Rafael Méndez Hospital and their subsequent arrest.
As for the second performance, it took place at 5:00 p.m. when the room on 092 received a notice in which a neighbor from a central street of the city warned that he was listening to a woman screaming for help.
Several police crews moved to the place quickly, locating the refugee woman in a neighbor's home.
It showed signs of violence and told the agents that she had suffered physical abuse from her partner.
Due to the signs of violence and the declaration of the woman, the arrest of her partner, a man of Spanish nationality of 31 years of age, was carried out.
The woman was transferred by the agents to a health center, where she was assisted to subsequently receive medical discharge.
La Edil has highlighted "the important work of the local police officers to respond immediately to any emergency." In the same week the police managed to remove from the circulation various narcotic substances, as we met a few days ago, arrest a person with an expulsion order and help a presumed victim of violence, which demonstrates his vocation of public service and self-denial ".
