The Governing Council has given the green light to the conclusion of the mixed contract for the drafting of the project and the contracting of the remodeling works of the Europa avenue of Lorca and adjacent urban spaces, with a total investment of 2,924,552 euros.
The works consist of the reconstruction and repair of public spaces damaged by the 2011 earthquakes, as well as improving the conduction of the services buried in the urban road, such as sewage, stormwater, potable water, gas, electricity and telecommunications networks.
This action, which will have a term of execution of 12 months, will develop the Europa Avenue, the area between the railroad tracks and the Canal de San Diego street, the Ortega Melgares street, the public space between Ministriles street and Puente Gimeno street, Asilo Street in San Diego and Paso Encarnado Avenue.
They are financed by the Autonomous Community under the loan contracted with the European Infrastructure Bank (EIB) and will be paid in two installments, 1,717,832 euros in 2018 and the rest, 1,206,720 euros, in 2019.
