In this regard, Gil stressed that "the acquisition of these vehicles will reduce fuel costs, but also endorse our commitment to the environment as their electrical operation at low and medium speeds will mean a lower emission of CO2 into the atmosphere, As well as less noise pollution, it is worth noting that another important novelty is that each of the vehicles has a defibrillator in its equipment that can be used in an emergency, for which Local Police agents will receive the appropriate training to be able to use it. correctly".

The new vehicles are 4 MPV-type patrols contracted under a renting regime for a period of 4 years.

It is the model Toyota Prius 140 h, 5 doors Eco-Eco, with a maximum power of the electric motor of 60 km / h.
