Mateos misses the vindictive character of Gil Jódar when it comes to raising his voice before his party bosses, so he asks that he know how to demand from the Government of López Miras the start of some works forgotten since 2014 to the detriment of the neighbors.
The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City council of Lorca, Diego Jose Mateos has returned to demand the beginning of the works of urban regeneration of the district of the Health-Cristo Rey, adjudged from a month ago.
The remodeling of this polygon, remembers Mateos, remained "in oblivion", in an "incomprehensible" way, since "the logical thing, and of common sense, would have been to do it after the works of La Viña, Alfonso X and Saint Joseph".
One more sample of the planning "at jump of kills" that the Popular Party has done with the works of regeneration of the city after the fateful earthquakes.
Mateos recalls that these are works whose budget amounts to 2,018,128 euros, which was announced in the Government Council of 2017 and presented to the neighbors in February 2018, with the deadline of 12 months from the announcement.
According to the spokesman of the PSOE, the works are "adjudicated for a month" so he does not understand "what they expect to start the works".
Since 2014, Mateos has been denouncing insistently that this "block", which was affected by the earthquakes located between the neighborhoods of La Viña and Alfonso X and in which around 750 people live, has been forgotten by the regional administration.
