The Mayor of Lorca, Fulgencio Gil, has received a delegation from the company Coopbox Hispania, headed by the Delegate Administrator of the same, Stefano Paternin, and the President, Noris Ferratti.

In this regard, the First Edil noted that "in 2017 Coopbox Hispania invested almost 3 million euros in the purchase of a new extruder that increased its already important production structure, in fact the production of sheet has increased more than 40%. This new extruder is a novelty in terms of technology and incorporates an efficient degassing system.It is designed for the manufacture of sheets in mono material PET and multilayer PET to meet the needs required by customers and the market.

Those responsible for Coopbox have announced that "in this year of 2018 the investments that will be developed in the Lorca plant are aimed at increasing production capacity in thermoforming lines, providing the company with a further availability in terms of finished product for the packaging of fresh products such as meat, fish, fruit and vegetables and industrial confectionery, for which 2 million euros will be invested, creating 6 new jobs for the acquisition of the new thermoformer that will be able to manufacture both trays of rigid material and expanded material. "
