The Councilman of Sports of the City of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, and the representative of the Association of Enganches of Lorca 'City of the Sun', Antonio Vera, have presented this morning the Complete Contest Territorial Engagement, scoring for the Murcia Federation League, to be held this weekend, July 14 and 15, in the facilities of Torre del Obispo, which have pit services installed in tents, showers, toilets, ambulance and bar service.
The Councilor for Sports recalled that the reception of the participating horses will begin today, Friday July 13, when the registration period ends, which price is 50 euros for Limoneras, 70 for Logs and 100 for Cuartas.
Bayonas has encouraged everyone to enjoy this contest which can be checked in situ the result of the work tirelessly carried out by horses and their drivers, and has congratulated the Association of Enganches de Lorca 'Ciudad del Sol' by the organization of this contest.
As for the calendar, on Saturday from 10 o'clock in the morning will take place the Doma of the categories Limoneras (a horse), Trunk (two horses) and Cuartas (four horses), the same Saturday from 20 hours the of Cones or Manejabilidad, a test to the time and demolish composed simple obstacles (pairs of cones with balls) or multiple.
Already for Sunday, from 9 o'clock, the Marathon test is planned for the three categories, Limoneras, Troncos y Cuartas, outdoors on land.
This test assesses the resistance in a course formed by several natural or artificial obstacles in which the winner will be the one who best uses time in the penalty area.
The winner will result from the best combination between the three tests.
Both the Doma and Cones results will be score for the Federation League.
The participants will be Lorca, Murcia, Cartagena, Eagles and neighboring provinces, the number of participants will be around 15 cars that will run in the categories of young horses, limoneras and trunks.
It should be noted that the discipline of engagement has its origins in the full competition of riding with the main difference of using a horse drawn carriage or ponies.
The complete contest consists of three tests: Dressage on a block in which the jury assesses regularity, flexibility, contact, rectitude, drive, and meeting.
For its part, the representative of the Association, Antonio Vera, has invited all Lorca and residents of the region and the rest of the region to join the organized events.

The Association of Enganches of Lorca 'Ciudad del Sol' also celebrates the traditional display of hooks in the malls with the participation of carriages, coachmen and horses throughout the region in the modalities of limonera, trunks, quarters and triplets, among others.
