The PSOE is pleased that the Mayor has finally made the necessary arrangements so that it can be recognized that a good part of the procedures for the reimbursement of aid could be prescribed, following the line set by the Government Delegate, who undertook, about fifty people affected by this problem, to ask the State Bar for a legal report to shed light on the deadlines in which to consider that these reimbursement orders could be declared null because they are prescribed

The deputy spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Marisol Sánchez Jódar has held that "finally" and after almost a year and a half since the victims of earthquakes began to receive letters with the procedures for the reimbursement of their aid, the Mayor has taken the necessary steps to achieve the express recognition that many of these procedures could be prescribed by the deadlines in which they began to communicate.

Sánchez Jódar celebrates the issuance of this report that the Mayor has already announced that it will refer to the Legal Council of the Region of Murcia.

This report is consistent, in addition, with what the PSOE has warned from the beginning, as well as with the content of the allegations that the victims have been presenting since they received the orders of reinstatement.

In addition, this management, adds the socialist mayor, adds to the management in this same sense that already announced the Government Delegate during his last visit to the city on July 6 and, specifically, during the meeting he held with the affected by this problem.

Diego Conesa, before fifty victims, promised to ask the State Bar for the issuance of a legal report on the files for the return of aid for earthquakes, specifically, about the situation of those beneficiaries of aid whose procedure of recognition and liquidation of the refund may have prescribed.

The Socialists have been convinced that the change of government has been a revulsive for many "entrenched" issues, among others, the solution to the problem by the justification of aid for earthquakes.

The mayor has been convinced that the sum of all these initiatives and efforts, together with the regional law that will be approved next Thursday with the collaboration of the different political parties represented in the Regional Assembly, should serve to give "shelves" to the suffering that for a year and a half are suffering thousands of Lorca.

From the beginning, the PSOE has been pending to give a solution to this problem, first, asking that the necessary means be increased to study and advise "case by case" the problems of each one of those affected.

In addition, there have been numerous initiatives promoted by the PSOE, both in the Plenary Session of the Lorca City Council and in the Regional Assembly and the Congress of Deputies.

As well as the support to other initiatives promoted by other parties, with the same purpose.

The last and most recent refers to the one obtained during the debate of the State of the Region.

Recently, at the proposal of the PSOE, and thanks to the unanimous support of the regional chamber, the Assembly approved to ask the Regional Government to immediately resolve the files of those affected by the earthquakes that demonstrate, through a technical report, that they invested their aid in the repair or reconstruction of their homes.

He assures that it is evident that, as a result of that mandate, the announcement of the Regional Government has been accelerated to elaborate a Law in this sense, to make possible that a descriptive memory as a responsible declaration on the works made and paid serves to justify the aid received for the rehabilitation of homes after the earthquakes of May 2011.
