The Socialists regret that 130 Lorca, back to swell the lists of unemployment in the month of August, breaking with the trend and again exceeding the figure of the 5000 unemployed in Lorca;
and denounce, that the rise of 2.65% in Lorca against the national 1'5%, shows the exhaustion of the PP in municipal employment policies.
The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group, Antonio Navarro, after knowing the data of the registered unemployment in Lorca of the month of August, has regretted that again raise the unemployment in Lorca, "returning to surpass the figure of 5,000 Lorca in situation of unemployment".
"Today, we find that 130 Lorca back to swell the unemployment lists," also indicates "an increase in the precariousness of the few contracts that have been made, proliferating the figure of" poor with payroll, "as it happens in the whole of the Region of Murcia "says Navarro.
In this sense, the socialist mayor says that "it is clear that in Lorca still do not do things well in terms of job creation." It is evident the exhaustion of municipal policies of employment of the Popular Party, "example of this are for Navarro, the 130 new unemployed Lorca, stating affirms the need for a change in municipal employment policies, to end the instability of the labor market.
The socialist councilor, expanding the data offered for the municipality of Lorca, added that "this new rise in unemployment has occurred mainly in the sectors of activity, industry, and services, maintaining employment generation in the agricultural sector," what Navarro demands from the Mayor, the government team and its head of employment to put "hands-on", as the August data confirm once again that the labor market in Lorca is still anchored in patterns of instability and precariousness.
Antonio Navarro recalls that during the last few years, since the PSOE in Lorca, proposals have been continually presented to the government team in terms of employment, aimed at creating quality and long-term employment for our municipality, and that these have been "Discarded and stuck in the drawer of oblivion."
To conclude, the socialist councilor affirms that "in the matter of employment there are no miracles or magic wands, you just have to apply common sense and go out on the street".
"It is not possible to stress that unemployment rates rise while every day staff in the hospitality sector is needed and the positions offered are not covered due to a lack of trained personnel", according to Navarro, this is because from the regional administration and local training courses are being promoted that have nothing to do with the demand, "highlighting the exhaustion of PP in terms of active employment policies in our municipality," sentence.
