The councilor of the Municipal Socialist Group in the City of Lorca, David Romera, has reported that there is distributed in different streets of the neighborhood of San Cristobal de Lorca about fifteen underground containers "that have not worked for many weeks, and even months," that is generating numerous problems that are bothering the neighbors of the area.
Most of these containers were painted recently with the urban regeneration works carried out in the neighborhood.
After many months of enduring the neighbors the execution of the works, now they find that one of the main urban services does not work.
The councilman blames the current situation "to the lack of a quick and effective response from the PP government team to solve this problem."
Romera has indicated that "we find three islets located in very central areas of the neighborhood where underground containers are closed with padlocks, even many of them are surrounded by metal fences."
It is about fifteen containers, mostly for the deposit of organic waste, located in the streets Caballón-Ortega Melgares, Los Voluntarios and Plaza de las Hortalizas.
These containers have been replaced by other containers on the surface, but in an insufficient quantity, which is causing numerous inconveniences to the neighborhood.
