The CEO of the municipal company Limusa, Juan Francisco Martínez, has presented this morning the new free smartphone application that allows to use the parking areas regulated by the Parking Regulation Ordinance (ORA) and which places Lorca as one of the cities leaders of Spain in regulated parking services.

Juan Francisco Martínez pointed out that "the modernization of the ORA service in Lorca culminates this September with the possibility of paying the fees corresponding to the use of the blue zone by means of a mobile phone." Limusa's collaboration with the provider of the ePark payment platform allows now to manage the tickets for regulated parking without the need to go to the parking meter ".

The Managing Director of Limusa explained that "the e-park application is simple, intuitive and completely guided, and given the user, it offers the opportunity to generate a virtual wallet for an amount at the user's discretion, from where to charge the amount of the subscription. For the planned parking time, the Lorca and the visitor who wish will have an invoice, virtual ticket, proof, warning alarm when the ticket ends and the possibility of canceling complaints in case of having exceeded the time paid.

Martinez added that "in this way only the rate approved in the municipal ordinance is paid, the same as what is paid in any parking meter." Controllers of the regulated parking areas enter the registration of the registered user through their APP in their respective terminals PDA, they connect with e-park and visualize the data of the ticket that has been obtained ".

The public company has modernized the ORA service with the incorporation of personnel, the new vertical signage, the technification of the service provision system both in the central office and for controllers, as well as the gradual replacement of vending machines, which already include personalization of the vehicle for which the service is provided, so that the rights of the users in the blue zone can be guaranteed more precisely.
