The head of the regional executive, Fernando Lopez Miras, received today at the Palace of San Estebanal president of the Most Illustrious Chapter of Our Lady the Virgin of Bitterness, Paso Blanco de Lorca, Lazaro Soto, and members of the board of directors of this brotherhood, Immersed in the celebration of the centenary of the Prayer Standard in the Garden, "a work of art that is an example of conservation and respect for our heritage, as well as a sample of our living legacy," remarked López Miras.
"Talking about the Holy Week of Lorca is doing something unique and different throughout the world," said the president, who highlighted the importance of Lorca embroidery and thanked the members of the brotherhood the work they do "to promote and disseminate our heritage and, with it, make more Lorca, more Murcia Region and more Spain ".
He especially highlighted the importance of the Standard of Prayer in the Garden, the work of Emiliano Felices declared of Cultural Interest (BIC), and invited all citizens of the Region to participate in the events organized to mark the centenary of this banner, which will have as main axis the procession to be held in Lorca next October 6.
