Mateos congratulates himself because the Mayor rectifies again and recognizes that the proposed burial announced in Lorca by the Government of Rajoy was insufficient and now ask that the route be started before the San Diego station, as they have always claimed from the PSOE when requesting 4.3 km of underground road.
The spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos celebrates that the current Mayor of Lorca, Gil Jódar, has recognized this morning that the underground passage of the railroad must be started before the Renfe station in San Diego.
This is a clear rectification in the position of the Mayor since, as announced a few months ago by the Minister of Public Works of the government of Rajoy, foreseen a burial of just 2.5 kilometers.
Mateos emphasizes that the Mayor of Lorca has recognized this morning that the burial must begin before the San Diego Station, which is a rectification to his proposal to burst just 2.5 km offered by the previous Minister of Development and forced to initiate the burial between the Guadalentín River and the San Diego Station.
In this way, Gil Jódar gives the reason to the PSOE and joins the request that the Lorca socialists have led to try that the underground route is 4.3 kilometers as long as it does not harm urban development of the city
It is, therefore, one more rectification, such as radar, such as the one in the lower passage in San Antonio, the social premises of San Pedro or the Puente de La Torta, which gives a measure of the erratic nature of the politics of Gil Jódar and exhaustion of the Popular Party project in Lorca.
In this sense, Mateos regrets that the improvisation and the constant changes of criteria of this Mayor end up costing "very expensive" Lorca.
Mateos regrets that it is now, after the change of Government, when Gil Jódar gives the reason to the PSOE and was not at the time, when they were in time to include it in the informative study that the Government of Rajoy left done.
"Once again, we see how Gil Jódar does not mind continuing to contradict himself with demanding, now that he rules the PSOE, what he never dared to demand when Rajoy and his family ruled."
On the other hand, from the Municipal Socialist Group ensures Mateos "we support the claims of the neighbors of Tercia" and ensures that from his position "we will do everything possible so that ADIF takes into account these neighborhood requests that serve to improve the project and to minimize the inconvenience to the neighbors of our districts ".
In the same way, "it is surprising that it is now the City Council of Lorca who echoes these requests and not when the construction project of the Sangonera-Lorca section was presented under the government of Mariano Rajoy".
Unlike what Gil Jódar continues to demonstrate, Mateos is committed to continuing to "always put forward" the interests of Lorca, regardless of who rules in Madrid.
