Next Wednesday, September 12, El Paso Blanco will celebrate the XXI anniversary of the canonical coronation of Our Lady of the Bitterness with a Eucharist in her honor, which will take place at 8.30 pm in the Chapel of the Rosary.
Mr. Eduardo Sánchez Carrasco, consular of El Paso, will be in charge of officiating the ceremony, during which the Choir of Santiago will sound.
The canonical coronation of the Virgen de la Amargura took place on September 12, 1997 in the Plaza de España, during a Eucharist celebrated by Monsignor Javier Azagra, then bishop of the Diocese of Cartagena.
The head of the brotherhood was transferred to the shoulders of the Capilla del Rosario on the silver throne that was used in 1915 and the crown was made by Diego Martínez Blasco with the collaboration and donations of all the whites.
