The well-known king of sports, football, could not be missed in the programming of the 40th Guadalentín Sports Games and this weekend has reached the agenda full of games.
On Friday night, the traditional Jumondi Amateur Football Tournament started this year with the participation of 6 teams: Rústicos Juan García, Autoescuela Torres, Atlas Maroc, Alfonso Ruiz Electrical Installations, Senegambia and Butano Comisa-Bar Príncipe.
The competition system will be a single-match match with only one leg, with 5 days to determine the winner of the Tournament.
The different matches, which began this weekend and will be played next month, will be held in five of the municipal grass fields: Casuco, Miñarro, World '82, Polideportivo and Los Tollos de La Hoya.
On Sunday morning it was planned that the Juan Casuco municipal camp would host the traditional Veteran Tournament that was going to face Lorca and Águilas.
However, the aquiline team, due to scheduling problems, could not go to Lorca, so this competition had to be canceled. Although it is not spectacular, it offers good moments of camaraderie and fair play every year.
