Fully settled in the Guadalentín Sports Games calendar and faithful to its appointment with the Lorca Olympics for a decade, the Archery met during the day on Sunday to 45 archers from throughout the Region of Murcia to participate in the 5th Open Air League day organized by the Arcolorca Club.
The '82 World Cup was once again the stage of the competition that was played one more year through the release of 36 arrows at the corresponding distances, from 12 meters, for the squirrel category destined for the smallest, up to 70 meters for the most experienced archers in the Olympic recurve bow division.
Specifically two batches were disputed so that the participants could try to make the best launches, stopping to rest in between and taste a lunch with typical products from the Lorca cuisine.
As for the modalities of bows, it was competed with recurve arch (olympic), compound (of pulleys), standard RFTA (Spanish), bare arch, traditional recurve and traditional long bow.
The runs were developed between 9 and 13.20 hours, when they proceeded to the delivery of medals by the president of the club, Francisco Parra, the Councilor for Sports of Lorca, Juan Miguel Bayonas, and the councilor of Participation, Javier Pelegrín.

From the club Arcolorca have announced that, within its program of activities, will celebrate a new days of initiation to archery will begin on Saturday October 6 at 10 in the morning in the Alameda Pavilion.
They are aimed at children, youth and adults, and will consist of an initiation in the use of the bow kit, safety measures and the different techniques of all the arc divisions.
