A broad municipal deployment will provide coverage to all activities included in the framework of the celebration of our Fair and Festivities.
Plaza Real joins the enclaves for the celebration of concerts at the Day Fair.
The Councilors of Culture and Works in the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas and Ángel Meca, have supervised this morning the last details that are carried out to conform the extraordinary device that the Consistory is going to deploy with the objective of providing coverage to all events that will be developed in our city included in the program of our Fair and Festivities.
It is an operation that aims to provide all the necessary provisions for Lorca to deal simply with enjoying the many activities proposed, which is the purpose of the Fair.
The distribution of 40 temporary paper bins is foreseen in order to take care of the hygiene of our municipality.
Among other additions, there are 11 dressing rooms and booths for municipal services, 22 jaimas distributed around the city of 5x5 meters in length, a perimeter fence of 400 meters and 10 temporary water points distributed throughout the city.
It should be noted that the mobile coverage of the site has been reinforced by the incorporation of a special telephone unit.
The Ediles have announced the logistical device of the Huerto de la Rueda for the 2018 Fair that will begin tomorrow, Friday, September 21.
It is worth remembering that 39,100 euros were invested in improving the general conditions of the site, thanks to the subsidy from the Government of Spain through the Ministry of Public Administration.
El Edil de Cultura explained that the Huerto de la Rueda has 5,420 m² of paved surface and a covered area of ​​3,000 m².
In addition, the entrance will be decorated with garlands and lighting arches composed of 100,000 low consumption led bulbs.
Inside, 55 projectors have been installed to illuminate the fairgrounds.
With regard to the logistical device planned for the Fair, 70 chemical toilets will be installed, including almost a dozen for people with reduced mobility.
These will be distributed in the Plaza de España, the parking lot of the Jardines de Lorca hotel, in the fairground and in other public roads with abundant traffic.
The Fair will feature eight stages, one more than in previous editions when Plaza Real joined the fairgrounds, in which the various programmed shows will be held, including 12,000 chairs with the aim of enjoying these performances comfortably.
The fairground is equipped with a total of 4 electrical transformers installed expressly to provide the necessary supply to all the services and attractions it houses during these days.
We are talking about an equipment capable of supplying up to 3,000 kaveas through the medium voltage line that is also installed to meet the needs of the fair.
The enclosure has an emergency generator for the lighting, although it is foreseen that it is not necessary to use it since the space is perfectly equipped with the necessary equipment to supply the electrical needs.
Thanks to the efforts made in recent years in terms of innovation, savings and energy efficiency, it has been possible to reduce the habitual consumption in this type of facilities to one third of what was previously necessary.
This is an advance that benefits us all, since in addition to the consequent economic savings, the CO2 emissions to the atmosphere are reduced significantly, achieving, in short, a more efficient and environmentally friendly enclosure.
250,000 children tickets for attractions at 1.5 euros
Agustín Llamas has indicated that "a total of 250,000 tickets have been printed so that all children can enjoy the fair at a more affordable price." The tickets will be used to allow children to ride at attractions for only 1.5 euros ( more bonus), on September 24, 25 and 26, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday- from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm This year, the tickets have been distributed in nurseries and elementary schools in Lorca, with the novelty that they have also been distributed by educational centers of the Guadalentín region (Águilas, Totana, Puerto Lumbreras, ...) so that children from bordering municipalities can also come to Lorca and enjoy the attractions. Subsequently, thanks to the collaboration of Limusa, keys to recycle and care for the environment with messages addressed especially to the smallest of the house.
The president of the Association of Fair, in this sense, has stressed that "discount vouchers, to be different colors every day help to have fair atmosphere all week, attracting even students of Children and Primary of nearby municipalities, something that would not be achieved by leaving it at a fixed price without a ticket during those dates ".
Llamas has indicated that "in the fairground are already prepared 95 attractions, of which 25 are for children and the rest for adults, including tombolas, shooting booths, and food stalls managed by carnies (waffles, nougat , fast food, hamburgers, ...) Among the novelties of this year include "Megabross", "Luftwaffe", "Gigant XXL3", "Inverter", "Zoo Acuatic" and one of the largest panoramic ferris wheels in the country, some attractions that add to classics such as "The Swan Lake," Hotel "," Flying Balloons "and" The Mouse Vacilón ".
