Mateos again reminds Gil Jódar that the districts are also Lorca, and that this City Council has to make a greater effort so that Lorca from the most remote districts are comfortable in their municipality and do not feel discriminated against by their local administration
The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has announced that his group has presented a motion, which will be discussed in the plenary session on Friday, September 21, with which they will request a plan of measures with the objective of taking of abandonment to the hamlet of Ramonete, one of the most distant from the center of the city.
Mateos ensures that it remains a pending issue by the Popular Party a better deal to the districts, especially those that are further away from the city.
"The districts are also Lorca, although you forget this Mayor and the Popular Party."
"The residents of Ramonete feel discriminated against by the City of Lorca," he warns.
Among the measures that will be requested in the plenary session for the benefit of the hamlet of Ramonete highlights the adaptation of the General Plan according to the demands and real needs of the population of the districts, in order to facilitate the repair and / or construction of new housing that serves to promote the settlement of the population as well as new businesses and agricultural facilities.
Due to the current difficulties, Mateos warns that there are many entrepreneurs, workers and families who are forced to seek better conditions in nearby municipalities, such as Mazarrón.
In addition, the PSOE again request a plan for conditioning rural roads in the district.
Ramonete presents a wide network of roads that deserve to be conditioned, because due to its current state, many houses are left incommunicado when it rains.
The arrangement of roads such as El Morrón, El Jarama, El Molino or Calnegre will be requested in this Plenary, to be arranged progressively.
In the case of the path of the Morrón, which runs through the ravine of the same name, it will also be requested to Segura Hydrographic Confederation, owner of it.
In terms of improving public services, the PSOE will take to the full City Council the need to recover for this course the two lines of school transport that had the students of the Ramonete CEIP to this course.
Against the needs of this population, the Regional Government has decided to delete one of the two lines as well as one of the stops.
Similarly, the neighbors request the extension of the consultation time of the pediatric service in the health center of Ramonete, and that it is not interrupted again during the summer months.
Along with these measures, the PSOE will demand the City of Lorca the development of a plan for maintenance and improvement of municipal infrastructure in Ramonete, as well as the creation of new sports facilities or the installation of gerontogimnasia devices for the elderly of the district.
