Mateos raises this initiative with the intention that young people have a space that serves as an alternative to "botellón", with non-alcoholic beverages, music, shows and workshops focused on the adolescent audience.
The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca, Diego José Mateos has proposed the installation during the fair of a young tent without alcohol.
The first weekend of the fair has shown, according to Mateos, the need to design spaces for the young people of the municipality, especially for the range of between 12 and 17 years, with activities aimed at the adolescent audience.
Mateos proposes this initiative with the intention that young minors count during the fair with a space that serves as an alternative to the "botellón", with non-alcoholic beverages, music, shows and workshops.
A proposal in addition, as a result of the numerous complaints raised by the fathers and mothers, who demand spaces in fair for their children.
In short, a space for that youth sector of the population that "begins to leave only, and that needs alternatives since it is still less for the areas and shows programmed for the adult public".
For the design and implementation of this installation, Mateos proposes to have groups such as Hostelor and the Council of Youth of Lorca.
They ask for the increase of portable toilets in the Huerto de la Rueda and the Day Fair
In another order of things, and as other proposals to improve the fair week that still remains, Mateos claims the expansion of the number of portable toilets that are distributed, both by the fairground of the Huerto de la Rueda, as in the streets and squares from the center of the city, as well as a greater number of those enabled for people with reduced mobility.
Support of professionals and greater signage for the campaign of prevention of harassment at the fair
As for the campaign to prevent harassment during the fair, Mateos has celebrated that the Popular Party has attended the proposal made by the PSOE, held at the end of August, for the development of this initiative.
However, Mateos calls for a greater signaling of the information points enabled, and above all, that these are supported by professionals specialized in violence in leisure spaces.
