From IU also request the issuance of vouchers for travelers who do not have free money for the ticket
Pedro Sosa, councilor for Izquierda Unida Verdes in the town hall of Lorca, requested this morning the maintenance of bus timetable between Guazamara (Almeria) and Lorca, dependent on the Ministry of Transport, and that is used by neighbors of Escarihuela and nearby towns to move to Lorca.
A few days ago, Sosa was alerted by the residents of that district that the 9:30 bus of this line will stop circulating.
This bus is used by the neighbors of the Escarihuela to move to Lorca in the morning, so Sosa has urged the councilor of Transportation of Lorca, Javier Pelegrín, to intercede with the Ministry for the maintenance of the line and schedules that had been developing until now.
For the mayor of the left, the maintenance of transport lines between Lorca and its districts is essential to stop the gradual depopulation suffered by them due to lack of opportunities and services.
Also referring to urban transport, Sosa, before the complaint of many users who have not been allowed to go up due to lack of change buses, has requested the issuance of vouchers with the amount remaining to be returned and can be exchanged for these in a customer service office.
This measure, which already apply other municipalities with great success, would prevent drivers carry a lot of money in the vehicle to give the change to travelers and these would avoid them run out of travel when they have no money loose.
