The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, has presented this morning the program of courses offered by the School of Visual and Performing Arts for the year 18/19, which have been carried out so successfully in previous years under the address of Juan Jiménez Asensio.
Agustín Llamas explained that "from October to June, 10 courses of painting, drawing, sculpture, digital arts and theatrical interpretation have been programmed." The courses of painting, drawing and sculpture will take place on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, being the first shift from 18 to 20 hours and the second from 20 to 22 hours.They will start on October 15 and end on June 28, with a fee of 105.90 euros for the four-month period and 184.50 euros for the entire course. On the other hand, the two courses of sculpture will be taught on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays in two hours: from 18 to 20 hours and from 20 to 22 hours.The full price of the course amounts to 105.90 euros, while for the semester it is 63 ,50 euros".
The Councilor for Culture has detailed that "the digital arts course will be divided into two, one to deepen Illustrator and Premiere and another in Indesing and After Effects." Both will be developed at the School of Plastic Arts, the first on Tuesdays of 20 at 9.30pm, starting on October 23 and ending on January 22 and the second also on Tuesdays from 20 to 21:30 but from March 5 to May 28. The fee will be 42, 20 euros each "
Llamas added that "in addition, a children's course of initiation to the plastic arts for children between 8 and 15 years will be taught in order to collect the possible demand of children in the area of ​​influence of the School. , painting and sculpture, being the School of Plastic Arts the place where it will be developed The course will have a schedule from 4 to 6 pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, starting on October 15 and ending on June 13. The fee will be 52.30 euros per quarter and 84.70 euros for the full course. "
The Edil de Cultura stressed that "in terms of performing arts, the following courses will be given: theatrical performance of adults group A and B and children's theatrical performance in order to create a theater school. It will be held on Mondays from 8 pm to 10 pm at the School of Plastic Arts, starting on October 22 and ending on May 27. The B, on the other hand, will take place on Wednesdays from 8 pm to 10 pm also at the School of Arts. Plastic, starting on October 25 and will continue until June 14. The children's interpretation course will be held at the Popular University on Monday and Wednesday from 18 to 19 hours, with the beginning on October 22 and the end on May 31. The fee for each course is 52.30 euros for the semester and 84.70 euros for the full course. "
Agustín Llamas has encouraged "big and small to participate in these workshops that the Department of Culture starts with the aim of developing our artistic skills, know techniques and resources and improve the ability to communicate through the universal language that is the Art".
