On this occasion the almanac offers some pictures of children and users of Down Lorca in their daily environment, performing the daily tasks of everyday life with your family and friends.

The price of the same is 5 euros and can be purchased in the morning and afternoon hours the headquarters of Down Lorca or in the Parque Almenara Shopping Center during the weekends of December and January 3, 4 and 5

The Councilor for Family and Social Welfare of the City of Lorca, Fátima Mínguez, accompanied by the President of Down Lorca, José Ortuño, presented this morning the solidarity calendar for the sixth consecutive year edited this group to raise funds to contribute to the maintenance of its services.

Fátima Mínguez has congratulated this entity for the initiative and has encouraged citizens "to collaborate by acquiring some of the 3,000 calendars, 500 more than last year, which have been put up for sale at the price of 5 euros at the headquarters that the Association has in Lope Gisbert Street and in the Shopping Center Park Almenara in morning and afternoon hours It should be noted that these calendars can be purchased in this commercial establishment on the 6th and weekends of December as well as 3, 4 and January 5".

The Councilor for Family and Social Welfare stressed that "like every year Down Lorca publishes its solidarity calendar to contribute to the fundraising for the Association, this time the almanac offers beautiful pictures of children and users of Down Lorca in its environment and most natural environment on a daily basis, performing the daily tasks of everyday life with your family and friends.Remember that your first calendar was with the first users of Down Lorca as protagonists, later they were counting on the participation of collectives such as "The New generation of Lorca Writers", "The Group of Choirs and Dances of Lorca", the group of solidarity sportsmen "Reto yo si puedo" and "La Peña Madridista Ciudad del Sol." The images that accompany each one of the months of the year have been carried out by the photographer Pedro Javier Alcázar, better known as "El niño de las luces", and who is the father of a boy from the Association, collaborating in this way

selfless way in this solidary action ".

Mínguez has indicated that "Down Lorca performs various activities throughout the year to finance its Association and with it the development programs that are carried out in it and that are focused on improving the daily life of people with Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disability.Therefore, from the City Council we encourage all Lorca to go to the different venues where these almanacs can be purchased (local Down Lorca and CC Almenara Park) and collaborate with the children of Down Lorca.

It should be noted that the Association "Down Lorca" is a non-profit group with scope of action in the region of Lorca, which integrates people with Down syndrome, intellectual disability and their families.

The Association aims to carry out activities that contribute to improving the living conditions of people with Down Syndrome and intellectual disability in order to achieve full family and social integration and develop a life with the highest degree of autonomy possible.
