The public reading organized will take place next Wednesday, December 5, from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Plaza Real, next to the Pilar Barnés municipal library.
The PSOE invites all political parties, institutions, economic and social agents, and all citizens and civil society, to participate in this act to celebrate the signing of the framework that has governed the coexistence of Spaniards during these first forty years in a social, democratic and legal state.
The PSOE wants Lorca to celebrate on Wednesday the 40th anniversary of the Spanish Constitution with a public meeting in which citizens and political and social representatives will make a continuous reading of his text.
This has been announced by the Spokesman of the PSOE, Diego José Mateos who encourages Lorca and Lorca to join this open act in commemoration of these four decades of freedom, progress and democracy.
The PSOE reaffirms its commitment to a society of progress, equal, democratic and supportive, says Mateos, "is not possible without the Constitution."
"Our Constitution fulfills these days 40 years Respecting it, making it comply, without prejudice to update it for the XXI century, offering solutions for new problems and challenges, is without a doubt the best way to defend it", assured Mateos.
For the spokesman of the PSOE, to commemorate the Constitution is to celebrate our freedom and our progress;
it is to value the meaning of that pact among Spaniards, and it is to move forward to renew our commitment to our coexistence and our democratic principles.
The PSOE will assume "the challenge and responsibility" to organize this act of celebration to "complete the incomprehensible void" of initiatives in this regard.
"We do not understand that not a single institutional act has been convened from the City of Lorca, as an administration representing Lorca and Lorca, to commemorate this important date, both to remember the effort of our elders, and not to transmit to our young people the importance of the Magna Carta ".

An act with which from the PSOE lorquino want to promote knowledge of the content and meaning of the Magna Carta, especially among the youngest, the importance of this, the effort of our ancestors, and of course, the fundamental role it has had for the history of democracy in Spain.
