The mayor of Culture recalls that, among other investments, the medieval churches of San Pedro and Santa María are recovering, restoring the façade of the Guevara Palace, working on the Virgen de las Huertas, the Synagogue has been museumized and the financing for the recovery of the Plaza de Toros
The Councilor for Culture of the City of Lorca, Agustín Llamas, wanted to respond to the accusations from the PSOE about the cultural recovery of the city remembering that "Lorca lives a historical time in terms of the enhancement of their cultural heritage, although It seems that it hurts someone, never in the history of this city had so much invested in the recovery of our artistic and historical identity.We could talk about restored monuments thanks to the commitment of the Autonomous Community through the Master Plan for the Recovery of the Cultural Heritage of Lorca, like Saint Patrick, we can talk about the enhancement of the Fountain of Gold, the works underway in the Sanctuary of the Virgen de las Huertas, facade of the Palacio de Guevara, the recovery of San Pedro and Santa María or the financing for the recovery of the Plaza de Toros, among many other investments ".
