As every year, El Paso Blanco takes advantage of these dates to organize a battery of activities for all types of audiences, collaborating in this way to enrich the Christmas agenda of our city.
The activities begin this weekend with the traditional solidarity gatherings of toys and food.
The first of these takes place in the city and starts on Saturday the 15th, extending until December 30th.
The toys will go to the Obra Social Santa Luisa de Marillac (Sisters of Charity) and the delivery will be made on January 2 in the muBBla.
The collection of food for Caritas will be held on December 15 in front of Carrefour Almenara Park, and will be enlivened one more year with the parade of the musical group Virgen de la Amargura, which will begin at 18.30 with its youth section .
Next Sunday, December 16, at 12:30 a special ceremony will take place in the Chapel of the Rosary, since the Archconfraternity of the Rosary will celebrate an Extraordinary Chapter in which it will hand over to the Ladies Choir of Our Lady. Virgen de la Amargura the Gold Medal of the Cabildo in recognition of her care and maintenance of the Chapel of the Rosary since her birth in 1912.
The acts will continue with the visit of the Minister of Tourism and Culture of the Region, Miriam Guardiola, on Monday, December 17 at 6:00 p.m.
The counselor will visit the Santo Domingo Monumental Complex and will attend the presentation of the limited edition of engravings that have been made to celebrate the centenary of the Prayer in the Garden banner.
On Tuesday, December 18, Christmas ceremonies are resumed with the Christmas floral decoration workshop organized by the Ladies Choir of Our Lady of the Bitterness, to be held at Casa del Paso at 7.30 pm.
The participants will realize floral centers to decorate their homes in these dates.
The next day, on December 19 at 7:00 pm, the Chapel of the Rosary will host an emotional concert by the Orchestra and Choir of the Conservatory of Lorca.
The traditional White Tent will open on Friday, December 21 at 7:30 p.m.
This year will be located on Avenida Juan Carlos I, next to the Columns, and will feature for its opening, as usual, with the Musical Association Virgen de la Amargura, which will make a parade to encourage all Lorca to make their Christmas shopping .
On December 27, at 8.30 pm, the Eucharist will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Rosary in honor of St. John the Evangelist, patron of Paso Blanco.
After the religious celebration, Easter will be sung one more year and a tasting of typical Christmas sweets will be offered.
The Intercomisiones Futsal tournament that every year is organized [ajpb] will take place on Saturday, December 29 at 9 am at the Felipe VI sports complex.
Various Paso commissions will participate in it and will end with an aperitif.
One of the most anticipated activities of the year, the birthday of AguiBBla and the visit of SS.MM.
The Magi of the East, will take place on January 4 from 6 pm.
Throughout the afternoon the children can perform various children's activities supervised and helped by the members of [ajpb], organizers of the event.
In the middle of the afternoon, the Magi will hear and collect the letters of all the attendees and will adore the Child Jesus in the Chapel of the Rosary.
As a final culmination, on January 5 will be offered the usual chocolate with roscón in the White Store after the parade of Kings, completing a Christmas full of activities with which El Paso Blanco aims to provide your grain of sand for our city to shine in some dates so marked.
