The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, Belén Pérez Martínez, has announced two actions of interest developed during the weekend by agents of the Local Police in our town and that have resulted in two arrests.
"The first of the proceedings took place on Saturday, December 8, when at 9:30 p.m. a call was received in the operating room of the Local Police of Lorca alerting about the presence of an individual inside a vehicle parked in Calle Juan Antonio Dimas, which had broken glass, giving the impression that it was stirring and removing objects from the interior.
Local Police units of the GOMT and UPPSC groups were moved to the site;
when detected by the individual, he undertook a quick escape from inside the vehicle, crossing the aforementioned road and entering quickly in the back and springs of the San Diego Shopping Center.
The agents began a skilful pursuit, coordinating between the troops to get to reach the subject at the end of the aforementioned area of ​​wharves, where he was arrested.
Subsequently, the owner of the vehicle that had suffered the theft was located to present the corresponding complaint, "the mayor reported.
As for the second performance, "occurred at 1:40 am from Sunday morning to Monday December 10, when a call is received in the Lorca Police operations room of a man warning that it had just been victim of the theft of a bag type shoulder bag with documentation and money, having been attacked to effect the theft.
The man provides the data and features of the author as well as the location on Calle Jerónimo Santa Fe. Several units of the UPPSC group of the Local Police moved to the area urgently, starting the search by the vicinity until finding a subject whose traits and dress coincided with the facilitated and that was recognized as the author of the facts.
