The Spokesman of the PSOE in the City of Lorca and candidate for Mayor, Diego José Mateos has presented the more than 1,800 allegations that, with the close collaboration of the local and commercial fabric of the city, have collected to claim ADIF the improvement of the information study of the AVE, so that it is modified including the extension of the burial section to the 4.3 km necessary to not divide the city in two.

Specifically, 1,863 allegations that are already registered with ADIF.

"We have done our work, and I have to acknowledge and thank the involvement, effort and unity of the neighbors, the neighborhood associations, commercial, ordinary citizens, especially the affected neighborhoods but in general all the Lorca society, taking this cause, which belongs to everyone, to make it clear to the central government, whatever the color, that Lorca needs the AVE, needs the improvement and modernization of the neighborhood, but that we will never give up the integral burial of the roads along the urban area, necessary not to punish any neighborhood, "said Mateos.

Since the result of the informative study published by ADIF was made public, the PSOE Lorca launched an information campaign and collection of citizen allegations, in order to inform the neighbors about the current situation and promote this common effort : "There is one thing that I have clear, and that I will always defend: when the future of Lorca is at stake, the needs of Lorca and Lorca, I am not one of those who lower their arms depending on who governs in Madrid ", reiterates Mateos.
