The Councilor for Public Safety of the City of Lorca, Bethlehem Perez, presented this morning a playful Christmas activity organized by the Association of Neighbors of the Alfonso X neighborhood that will take place on Saturday, December 22 from 19 to 21 hours and in which the canine patrol of the Local Police of Lorca.

Belén Pérez has indicated that "the Association of Neighbors of the neighborhood of Alfonso X has prepared for Saturday a Christmas holiday initiative involving more than forty collaborating companies, among which are shops and catering establishments throughout the region. the same is, on the one hand, that the little ones enjoy the magic of Christmas with the visit of Santa Claus, and on the other, boost shopping in this commercial area of ​​the city. "

The Councilor for Public Safety has detailed that "specifically, the activity is about the visit of Santa Claus to the Old Way of the Port, which will arrive in a limousine loaded with gifts for children and pets with two of his assistants. Santa Claus will also be "Turron" and "Kimba", the two dogs that are part of the Canine Unit of the Local Police of Lorca, as the initiative is also directed to animals. Canina in the police field is to promote the skills with the consequent benefit to the citizenship, and on the other hand, a complementary objective, which would be to make known to the neighbors, not only the "preventive" and "active" side of the Unity, but the human, collaborative and socially aware side of the binomial animal-person ".

Perez added that "during the afternoon we will also have a bouncy castle, donuts, sweets and chocolate, music, as well as candy for children and snacks for pets."
