The PSOE, through the candidate for the Mayor of Lorca Diego José Mateos, takes stock of 2018 and summons the Lorca to win the Municipal Elections in May next year to return to have a team of people who feel Lorca, work for Lorca and defend Lorca wherever he is and whoever he is.
This 2018 has confirmed that the PP management model is exhausted.
The management of the government team deserves a "suspense", it is demonstrated that they have no future project for Lorca, neither for their neighborhoods nor for their districts, and that therefore, they have finished their cycle in Lorca.
The Socialist Spokesman and Candidate for Mayor of Lorca in 2019 Diego José Mateos has said that "the Lorca deserve a government team composed of people willing to work for and for Lorca", and claims to have a team "motivated to return to Lorca place that corresponds to him, being regional and regional referent, with people with capacity to manage and that does not have fear to him to the street nor to give the face by his neighbors ".
"Lorca needs to wake up, of all these years of blackout and lethargy to which PP has submitted during these almost 12 years of government," says Mateos, and states that Lorca, its neighborhoods and districts do not deserve a government that improvises and that only worry about Lorca when there are six months left until the elections.
Mateos, along with the work done by the PSOE in recent years, has expressed his conviction that the new year will bring Lorca the longed for change that Lorca are demanding, and that this change will be led by the PSOE.
"A change that returns to Lorca the regional and regional prominence that corresponds and deserves, and in which the districts again count in municipal management", adding that "for this we have equipment, enthusiasm, enthusiasm and a government project to Lorca and surely we will have the majority confidence of Lorca. The Socialist spokesman has made review of the most important areas of municipal management, qualifying with a "general suspense" the management of the PP government team, with its Mayor at the head, regretting that the change, or rather "replacement", that took place in the City Hall has not served Lorca to get out of the lethargy to which the PP has plunged our city in recent years.
In terms of employment, Mateos said that "another year passes, and job creation remains completely stagnant, where the great works that have been carried out are still not used to give jobs to Lorca," this being the main problem, ensuring that "everything possible is not being done so that the great works carried out generate employment positions among our neighbors", reaching almost 5,000 unemployed people throughout the municipality.
The candidate for the PSOE to the Mayor stressed that we must turn all efforts to explore new ways of employment and wealth generation and says that, although we must continue to provide all possible support, we can continue to entrust the future of this land in the primary sector.
"We have to be more ambitious and not resign ourselves" as the PP has been doing for a long time, for that reason, from the PSOE we demand the promotion of the university, the maintenance and recovery of the industrial fabric, and the definitive commitment to monumental tourism and rural areas and for the revitalization of the Historic District as potential drivers of employment.
As for the recovery of Lorca after the earthquakes of 2011, Diego José Mateos qualifies 2018 as another year more lost. At the beginning of the year, says Mateos, we thought that 2018 was going to be the year of the culmination of the recovery, in the that the wounds still open would be closed.

In the field of health, the socialist candidate stressed that Lorca know that the PSOE is the party that defends users of public health.
Mateos affirms that "we have demonstrated" taking the problem of the waiting lists to the Ombudsman, helping users to claim to advance their medical appointments, or registering initiatives in the City of Lorca through a monographic plenary session and in the Assembly to claim the investments that correspond to us and that the PP continues to deny us.

In relation to one of the greatest assets of our city, its Historic Quarter, Mateos has classified 2018 as another year lost, lamenting that nothing has been done for its rehabilitation and value.

To finish and despite the scenario in which Lorca is currently, Mateos has been hopeful and excited that this 2019, from May, with the PSOE in the government of the City of Lorca and with him at the head of the Alcaldía, Lorca will once again recover the regional and regional leadership that should never have been lost and with this, return the illusion to all Lorca and all its people without any discrimination.
