Mateos demands the completion of the works of San Fernando immediately: "The neighbors are not waiting for more, no more lies or more unfulfilled promises, we would not like to think that you are playing with these families to match the handing over of keys with a date closest to the elections. "

The candidate for Mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has regretted the new delay in handing over the keys, and therefore, in the return to their homes of the 232 families who, eight years later, continue to be out of their homes, since the San Fernando neighborhood was damaged and had to be demolished as a result of the fateful earthquakes.

"The game they have with these families is inhumane, so we are going to continue demanding, until the end, together with the neighbors, to achieve the return to their homes as soon as possible and, in short, the return to normalcy in their lives "

Mateos has been "outraged" after knowing that "neither the last deadline, which seemed definitive because they put day and time to the delivery of keys, not even that term have been able to meet."

The Socialist spokesman has said that "if Gil Jódar and López Miras are not able to meet the deadlines that they give, what they have to do is not play more with the neighbors, and if not move away."

In this sense, the Socialist spokesman once again indicated that "we would not think, judging from what is happening, that they were deliberately delaying this handing over of keys, in order to make it coincide with dates closer to the elections".

To the continued unfulfilled deadlines and the delay in the completion of the works, adds the "obscurantism and lack of transparency," denounced Mateos, of the City of Lorca in relation to the "destination and the way of awarding" of the 59 homes of municipal ownership in the new neighborhood of San Fernando.
