The Councilor for Equality of the City of Lorca, Juan Francisco Martínez, reported this morning that this area of ​​municipal management is going to launch the program "Empléate from equality", an initiative that promotes actions aimed at increasing the employability of women , their social participation and promote their personal autonomy.

Juan Francisco Martinez has indicated that "this program is scheduled to start up during the month of March and is aimed at 25 women with special difficulty in finding employment, such as women with functional diversity, long-term unemployed, young people without qualification , responsible for family nuclei, belonging to ethnic minorities, over 45 years without qualifications and victims of gender violence, among others.

The Councilor for Equality explained that "the program" Empéate from equality ", organized by the Institute for Women and Equal Opportunities in collaboration with the Department of Equality of the City of Lorca and co-financed by the European Social Fund, It is carried out through an integrated and personalized itinerary in which many personal and professional aspects are worked on, with the aim of facilitating women's insertion in the workplace and a better quality of life, all with the aim of promoting their self-esteem and confidence. necessary for them to become active protagonists of their own process of social and labor insertion ".

Martinez added that "the initiative will last approximately eight months, divided into four phases: motivation, information and guidance of the professional profile, training for employment with non-work practices and job search." The activities will be developed through work participatory group and individual tutoring ".
