A total of 59 pilots participate in the VIII Tierras Altas de Lorca Rally, the first round of the Spanish Land Championship and the Super Rally Championship of Spain.

José Antonio Suárez, winner of several national trials, third place in the JWRC in 2013 and champion of the 2015 French Rally Cup 2015;
Benito Guerra, champion of the PWRC in 2012 and Champion of Spain of Rallyes de Tierra in 2010;
Álex Villanueva, Champion of Spain of Land Rallies in 2006 and 2016;
Amador Vidal, Spanish Champion of Land Rallies in 2014;
Rómulo Barranco, Sub-champion of the All-Terrain World Cup in T2 in 2013;
and Albert Llovera and Isidre Esteve, both participants in the Dakar.
