The members of New Generations of the PP of Lorca begin a campaign with which during the next weeks will tour the streets and districts of the municipality collecting the proposals that the young people send them to make the White Paper with which the Popular Party will attend the next mayoral elections.

The campaign is called Young Mochila and has been presented by the Secretary General of New Generations, Diego Peñas, along with other young people of this group.

Peñas has pointed out that "the Popular Party of Lorca is developing its program during the last months through a broad participatory process, with meetings with associations, groups, proposals from neighbors and the whole local society, but from New Generations we want to give a more step towards the elaboration of the proposals that will form the programmatic lines in Youth, we do not want to agree with other young people the proposals, but we want them to be the ones who formulate them directly, with this objective we set up the Young Backpack ".

Through this campaign, New Generations will maintain a battery of meetings with associations of the municipality and youth groups to collect their suggestions, which will be nurturing contents of the Young Backpack.

But they will also visit the spaces most frequented by young people to listen to what they want to contribute to improve Lorca.

In the same way, they will make available their Facebook and twitter channels so that they can send their proposals and ideas to them.

The General Secretary of New Generations stressed that "during recent years the young people of Lorca have been protagonists of the municipal management in youth matters, but from the Popular Party we want them to be the ones who define the strategies and projects that will be implemented during the next few years and that they become strategic proposals within the program with which Fulgencio Gil and the popular team attend the May elections ".

In this regard, stressed that "not only have to be proposals for Youth, young Lorca have a multitude of interests and therefore any cross-sectional proposal can fill the Youth Backpack: education, culture, leisure, sports, ... If interested young people Lorca, the Popular Party is interested in. Therefore we encourage all young people to send us their proposals, share them with us through social networks or contact us to stay. "
