Abellán stressed that "the economic and social future of Lorca is closely linked to the success of new facilities such as the Auditorium and the Palace of Fairs and Congresses of Santa Quiteria", so "it is urgent to complete the completion of the works, and Of course, having a good project prepared so that both the Auditorium and the Palace of Fairs and Congresses have content ".
