Francisco Campos, general secretary and mayoral candidate for Podemos Lorca, has held a meeting with members of the Pailorca Platform where they have exposed the measures that, from the formation purple, consider adequate to minimize the problem of floods that threaten the Lorca districts of Campillo and Torrecilla.
Francisco Campos sees it necessary to address this situation from a global approach, being this, from the head, middle course and relief of the waters.
"You can not understand the solution to the problem if it is not undertaken in an integral manner, by carrying out different units of action in the different areas," he explained.
The mayoral candidate for Podemos has declared: "to the members of the Platform, we moved our proposal based on a reforestation of the headlands, raising the importance of rescuing the natural drainage network, by recovering the historic channels of the ramblas, the recovery of bracers, ditches and mouths. "
Campos, in addition, has shared with the Platform the need for the realization of this main drainage network that should serve to drive water from the ravines to the Guadalentín River through the districts of Torrecilla, Campillo and Purias.
Finally, Francisco Campos has remarked that the situation of abandonment in which neighbors are after more than six years of the floods that plagued these districts of our municipality is not acceptable.
