Francisco Campos, Secretary General of Podemos in Lorca and candidate for mayor in the municipality has reported the incorporation of Pepe Rufete, member of Equo, in a unitary bid for the municipal elections in Lorca.
The Secretary General of Podemos in the municipality of Lorca, Francisco Campos has reported that "Lorca needs the development of public policies that are committed to sustainable development taking care of the natural heritage that the municipality possesses and that besides being an engine for development tourism of the second largest municipality in the country and where we have a rich natural heritage, such as the virgin coast of the Punta de Calnegre and Marina de Cope regional park, the landscape and ethnographic importance of the high districts, and the potential of sustainable agriculture " .
For his part, the representative of Equo and candidate No. 3 in the candidacy of Podemos Lorca, for the municipal elections of May 2019, Pepe Rufete has shown his satisfaction in championing together with Podemos, the commitment to advance the political ecology that the society is demanding and expressed in the demonstrations of thousands of young people, who also in Lorca on March 15, demanded that policy makers take on the new challenges to fight against climate change and procure life on the planet.

The agreement between Podemos Equo has been ratified in the four municipalities with the largest population in the Region of Murcia, such as Molina de Segura, Cartagena, Murcia and Lorca, as well as in the regional candidacy.
