Antonio Meca, candidate for mayor of Lorca for the political formation Ciudalor, believes that all people who want to live among us must have the same rights and the same obligations.
According to Meca "there are two levels in the municipal administration that have to ensure compliance with regulations: registration and urban planning, where it is necessary to demand reliable documents that ensure the accuracy of the data provided"
In the Town Hall inspections of homes and commercial premises should be carried out to avoid the submerged economy and the unfair competition that they suppose for the commercial and business fabric of our municipality.
Mecca affirms that "we must send a clear message to those who want to live among us, and that is that we must all have the same rights and obligations"
Ciudalor considers that no party addresses this issue because it is complex and delicate, also because of party slogans or political irresponsibility.
"Only an independent party with free hands and clean as Citizens will address this serious problem that affects Lorca" adds Antonio Meca.
Ciudalor proposes inspection brigades for businesses and homes to prove compliance with municipal ordinances, essential for a proper coexistence and real equality for all residents.
Antonio Meca will meet this afternoon at 20.30 with the residents of Zarcilla de Ramos in their social center to hold a talk.
