The IES Sierra Almenara has won the 35th ONCE School Contest, "Por mí y por todos mis compañeros" at the regional level.
The schools San Pedro Apóstol of San Pedro del Pinatar and CEIP San Antonio, of Cañada de Gallego, Mazarrón, have also been awarded prizes.
The theme this year was to provide ideas to avoid turning recreation, which is a happy moment of school, on the contrary, and in which there were no exclusions for reasons of diversity or disability.
Our award-winning work has been a video clip in which we have incorporated a letter invented by the students, in which they appear rapping and interpreting the song.
They also add to the recording the lyrics performed by them in sign language.
222 groups of students from 69 educational centers throughout the Murcia region participated.
The contest has been nationwide, so thanks to this award, we went to the next state phase, whose winners will be announced in mid-May.
