The mayor of Lorca, Diego José Mateos, has announced that the City Council will continue with the demands in sanitary matters so that the clinics are not closed during the summer months, "we will do everything in our power to avoid it".
Mateos recalled that "thanks to the efforts being made by the City Council, it has been possible for the medical centers of Tiata, Aguaderas and Campo López to remain open in the afternoon except for the month of August," although he pointed out that the measures adopted by the Murcian Health Service are "insufficient".
The mayor reiterated that "we would like this measure to be opened during the summer months could be extended to the rest of the medical offices of the municipality so that this benefit can continue to be given to Lorca also in summer."
