The mayor of Citizen Security has detailed that "the events date back to the night of last Thursday, August 1, at 11:30 p.m., when the agents observed inside an establishment of the Neighborhood an individual that coincided with the characteristics of a suspect who had evidence that he was being sought by the Eagles Civil Guard for his involvement in an alleged crime of gender violence.When the agents proceeded to identify this person, he rushed on one of them abruptly and aggressively, and undertook his escape. After a chase on foot through several streets of about 500 meters the individual was arrested, but not before resisting. "

Ruiz Guillén has indicated that "the agents, who verified that he did not have documentation, transferred the detainee to Rafael Méndez de Lorca Hospital to be assisted by the health services since he said he was not well. Once he was treated, the Civil Guard was in charge of transfer to their offices to continue with the proceedings ".
