The Councilor for Equality of the City of Lorca, Antonia Pérez, has announced that "the Consistory through the Department of Equality initiates an awareness campaign, under the slogan 'The festivities of Lorca free of sexist aggressions' to be held in period of festivals, festivals and leisure environments of the municipality. "
The mayor of Equality has specified that "there will be a 'Violet Point', whose objective is to incorporate the prevention of violence against women in party and festival programs, as well as raise awareness of the right of women to decide, and inform about care services in situations of sexist violence. This awareness campaign has been coordinated by Local Police, Civil Protection, Federation of Women's Organizations of Lorca and Youth Council.
