With the table tennis this Saturday, September 14, the 41st edition of the Guadalentín Games have been launched, something unusual because for reasons of the storm, which hits the Region of Murcia, the Walking March was suspended on Friday, so as the activities that accompanied the inaugural event.
This morning the Councilor for Sports, Irene Jódar accompanied by the Ambassador of the Guadalentín Sports Games, the athlete Úrsula Ruiz wanted to wrap the participants of the 'Open City of Lorca' that in this morning day the medals in the categories were played, Benjamin , fry and child.
In the afternoon dozens of paddlers in the category, veteran and youth, who came from different parts of the Region, and who occupied the 16 tables distributed on the slopes of the San José pavilion.
The weekend is completed with Sunday 15, where there are also paddlers from different parts of the Spanish geography, such as Alicante, Almeria or Madrid, and that belong to the absolute category and the feminine category.
This event organized by the Table Tennis section of Eliocroca is taking an unstoppable pace of participation, and edition after edition is increasing the number of paddlers who want to come to play the settled 'Open City of Lorca'.
This year the participation has improved compared to last year, and tomorrow Sunday in San José you can see a high level competition with athletes from the Division of Honor and even Superdivision.
