The Councilors of Social Services and Celebrations of the City of Lorca, María Dolores Chumillas and José Ángel Ponce, together with the president of the Association of Marketers, Rafael González, and the representative of ASDIFILOR, José Luis Llamas, presented this morning the free system Accompaniment for children with functional diversity.

Chumillas has detailed that “to ensure that children with functional diversity who visit our fair can enjoy it safely we set up an accompaniment system by which only by presenting the disability card granted by the IMAS as well as the National Documents of Identity of both the user with functional diversity and the companion, who must be over 15 years old �.

The Edil stressed that "this year, the physical accompaniment card is not going to be made because it is an unnecessary expense and the person with functional diversity has a card granted by the Murciano Institute of Social Action that verifies the disability."

The Councilor of Celebrations recalled that, “the commitment of this Government Team is to work for standardization for all these children belonging to different groups and, therefore, this year we will also launch the first edition of 'For a fair without noise.

A commitment to people with Autism Spectrum Disorder 'an initiative that will take place on Thursday, September 26 from 7 pm to 10 pm and with which both children and adults with autism can go during this day to enjoy the attractions with total tranquility since, in the fairgrounds, there will be the 'blackout' of noise and strident lights that can produce situations and moments of great anxiety to people diagnosed with autism �.

"This is a new sample of collaboration between councilors, in this case between Social Services and Celebrations in addition to the goodwill demonstrated by the Lorca traders who have always been open to collaborate in this initiative," said Ponce.

In addition, together with the president of the Association of Feriantes de Lorca, Rafael González, the councilors and the representative of ASDIFILOR have visited the panoramic wheel with access to people in wheelchairs and whose owner has announced the enjoyment of all these people will be free.
