The Councilor for Citizen Security of the City of Lorca, José Luis Ruiz Guillén, wanted to have a special memory with Dody, one of the founding dogs of the Canine Unit of our city, who died a few days ago after six years of service. "

The mayor of Citizen Security recalled that "Dody, a Czech pastor of 10 years and who was retired for one year, had suffered a paralysis in his spinal cord because of a very severe hernia, which caused him to have to be treated with analgesics during the last weeks because of the strong pain I felt. "

Ruiz Guillén has highlighted "the many good services that Dody has performed, in his curriculum there were innumerable successes and professional satisfactions, thanks to his excellent work and dedication, as well as the national recognition of other bodies and different associations."

Among others, Dody had been decorated in Madrid by all the canine units of Spain, as well as by the Civil Guard and the National Police in gratitude for the services and collaboration provided, in addition to the decoration received from the associations of aid to the drug addiction and of his companions, of the Local Police of Lorca that granted him the medal (Cross to the police merit).

Rubén Valcárcel, the agent responsible for the local Canine Unit wanted to have words of thanks to Dody: "Thank you for your professionalism, for your loyalty and unconditional love.
