The first days do not leave any noticeable incident and this same afternoon a new coordination meeting will be held to "strengthen any type of issue for this week."
The Councilor of Celebrations of the City of Lorca, José Ángel Ponce, has taken stock of the first weekend of Feria and Fiestas de Lorca, three days that he has assessed very positively both at the level of attendance and participation.
Ponce said that "we are very satisfied with the reception during the first days of both the 'Day Fair' and the night fair since there has been a large influx of people. Thousands of people have enjoyed our streets, our squares and the Fairgrounds ".
The Councilor of Celebrations also stressed that "very important is also that there have been no significant incidents either in emergencies or security during this first weekend, so it highlights the enormous collaboration between the different municipal services."
Good data that, the Edil said "does not relax us" and has announced that this afternoon will hold a new coordination meeting between the Department of Celebrations and the various municipal services and "strengthen any type of issue for this week."
José Ángel Ponce explained that "in short, a very positive balance, happy with the work done, satisfied by the reception that the concerts held at the esplanade of the Hotel Jardines de Lorca have also had and willing to continue working to improve as much as possible this week".
